League of Cities Legislative Action Days
February 8 & 9 – Tallahassee

Florida League of Cities logoIf you do business with Florida’s cities, you can’t afford to miss this opportunity.

The Florida League of Cities and Business Watch work together to promote sound public policy and strengthen our communities. Elected officials from throughout Florida attend to address legislative priorities for the year. 2020 attendance was over 215 elected and staff (mostly elected).

Presentations will offer insight into hot topics for 2020’s legislature. Social events offer maximum interaction with city leaders. This is the place where business leaders meet local government leaders and Legislators to make things happen.

Tentative schedule:

  • 10 to noon – Legislative Briefing (Key Legislators & League Legislative Team)
  • 1 to 5 – Capital Visits
  • 5:30 to 6:30 – Reception


  • 8:30 – League of Mayors Press Conference
  • 9 to 11 – Capital Visits

Business Watch will meet with House and Senate members to promote the importance of government contracting to the state’s economy.


Registration deadline is January 25, 2022. Attendance is free for government, $500 per person for company attendees to attend any or all the events. (Credits may be applied.)

Acknowledgement: By registering, you understand that you will not be issued a refund if you need to cancel your attendance. You can however, have someone attend in your place provided you notify Dani Dahlberg via email in advance of the event.
