Local Government Employee Recruitment and Retention

FCCMA District Training
April 10 – Fort Myers – 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (includes lunch)

FCCMA logoA panel of local government managers will hold a conversation on the challenges and opportunities involved with recruiting and retaining employees. Rapid changes in technology, demographics, service delivery, and employee expectations are just a few facing Florida local government overs the next five years. Panelists will identify those challenges and opportunities and discuss what they are doing, and planning to do, to respond and adapt to these rapid challenges. This will be an interactive session with attendees so HR Directors and other key staff members should particularly plan to attend and participate in this critically important conversation.

Presenters: Terry Atchley, City Manager, Wauchula; Roger Desjarlais, County Manager, Lee County; Hector Flores, County Administrator, Charlotte County; Michael McNees, City Manager, Marco Island; Len Price, Administrative Services Administrator, Collier County; and Judie Zimomra, City Manager, Sanibel.

Don’t miss this opportunity to engage in training side-by-side with Florida’s managers.
